It was a great pleasure being a part of the staff at the 4th Academy of ancient music in Lanvellec (France). Assisting on the academy of this level (maintaining harpsichords and accompanying class of Beatrice Cramoix) and once more playing Robert Dallam’s Organ of Lanvellec (1653) have not just been a great experience, but I’ve felt it moved some things in the core of me, both as a musician and a human. I am very thankful for this opportunity and I hope I will have a chance to work again next to this great artists: Mira Glodeanu, Frédérick Haas,Beatrice Cramoix and Martin Bauer.
These days in Brussels we’re experiencing wonderful works of Spanish painter Francisco de Zurbarán at the expo at BOZAR.
Each Thursday at 19h there is a concert in the exposition space where young musicians are performing music from Zurbarán’s age and finding connection between he’s paintings and music of he’s contemporaries. I will, along with my colleagues, take a part in those concert series.
